About Us

Hello,

I am Luna. I am one of the grandchildren of a lovely spiritual lady. Before introducing myself and my family I think it is better to explain the culture I was born and raised in 🙂

Our family comes from Turkic origins. For centuries Turkic people have been practicing shamanism. Our shamans are different from Western cultures. In Turkic culture, shamans are tribe medicine persons rather than religious leaders. Turkic shamans can foretell the future as well. The talents of shamans were often seen as hereditary and transferred to later generations.

In my family women of the family receive their “gifts” from their grandmothers. We call this ritual “giving” and “receiving” “the hand”. When I say ritual it sounds like a big ceremony with chants and drums but believe me it is not 🙂 It is more like your grandma, cleansing your body with homemade incense (cumin & nigella seeds, tree barks, sage, and rosemary) holding your hands, praying for good wishes, and kissing you on the forehead.

My grandma and her sisters were healers and fortune tellers. One of my first memories about them was daily visits from our neighbors for a coffee reading (a traditional way of fortune-telling using Turkish coffee).

There were weekly gatherings of lead casting. A type of molybdomancy (a technique of divination using molten metal) to repel evil eyes and evil spirits.

My mom never practiced foretelling (saw death and quit her fortunetelling chapter altogether) but she is a healer. She is also a reiki master. My aunt is a yoga and reiki instructor. My great-aunt was a herbal specialist. She always had an herbal remedy for almost all daily illnesses. I was born into this Eastern medicine and healing culture. But it took some time for me to embrace this part of myself.

Women in my family had spiritual connections but also were very active and successful in the materialistic world 🙂 My mom was a businesswoman, one of my aunts was an engineer, and the other was a doctor, and my sister is an engineer as well. To give my sister her credit she was always more in tune with her spiritual side, her intuition was always very high.

Raised by the influence of these successful women, I was on the analytical side of the world when I was a teenager. Don’t get me wrong; I loved the rituals, gatherings, and gossiping with the “girl gang”. It was fun but that was just fun for me. They were social gatherings rather than healing and spiritual experiences. I thought science and spirituality were two separate things (how wrong and naive was I?).

My journey through the rabbit hole began when I had a skin problem on my face. I had blisters on my lips and nose. Dermatologists told me it is a type of dermatitis (everything they can’t name is dermatitis I guess).

I used whatever they prescribed me; lotions, pills, cleansing products… They helped for a few weeks but blisters kept appearing.

One day while I was feeling frustrated, my mom asked me if I would allow her to heal me, I thought what the heck and said yes. She took out a dull pencil, started praying, and drew circles around my blisters with the pencil. The next day my blisters started to get smaller and a few days later they were gone. And I never had any blisters on my face after that (ever!)

After that experience, I started paying more attention to my instincts and spiritual heritage. I sought and found teachers and masters of kundalini, reiki, breath therapy, and yoga. I practiced connecting with my spiritual guides… I connected with myself and my spiritual side with dream interpretation and dream journaling.

In the meantime like all women in my family, I was also working on a full-time job. I was a founder of a social startup. Together with my team, we helped individuals and small companies to set up and manage successful e-commerce stores. We helped more than 5,000 individuals to set up their websites and Etsy stores. We still help and teach them…

A few years ago during a yoga retreat, my path crossed with oracle cards. Before that, my sister and friends were reading tarot cards for me. I never tried to connect with them before. During the retreat, I was gifted oracle cards. I connected with oracle cards and from there, my tarot journey began.

I started collecting tarot decks from various artists and manufacturers. As with all ventures in my life, I wanted to pour more of myself into what I was doing. I wanted to create worlds and tell stories through tarot cards.

Beginning of this year I teamed up with two amazing artists and together we started designing these tarot worlds. We want to create high-quality tarot decks that are not only beautiful to look at but also inspire personal growth and self-discovery in those who use them.

We believe that the tarot can be a powerful tool for personal transformation. We strive to create decks that honor the tradition and symbolism of the tarot while also bringing a modern and contemporary twist.

We are constantly pushing the boundaries of tarot design and are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring our visions to life. Whether you are a seasoned tarot reader or just getting started on your journey, we hope that our decks will provide you with guidance, insight, and inspiration on your path.

This is my story and it is very nice to meet you 🙂

Love!
Luna
